I can’t believe it, it’s nearly the end of January already and I haven’t even committed to my goals for the year! Writing them down helps me to commit to them much more than just thinking about them in my head, also by telling people about them makes them much more real.
Last year I didn’t exactly set strict goals. I kept them very simple. Firstly I wanted to get on YouTube and start a channel. Thankfully I managed that, but I only uploaded two videos!
Move Flats
I’m based in zone 2 in London in a tiny flat, we really need more room. So the priority early this years it to find a bigger place and potentially later in the year buying somewhere.
Travel
My travel goals are pretty simple this year. Last year I wanted to travel more and take more paid campaigns. This year I simply want to go back to Thailand, travel to Cuba and potentially New York.
1 Video A Month
This year I’m going to try and up the pace on YouTube by committing to at least one video per month. Yes, I know, it’s not a staggering amount but my goals have to be realistic and by judging how fast I manage to edit videos so far, this is a do-able goal.
2000 Subscribers
So, it might be a bit lofty but I’m going for it, hopefully by increasing the number of videos I produce and also the regularity of them I’ll be able to increase my subscribers drastically (I think I have about 90 so far!).
If you want help me out massively, you can subscribe right here! Thank you!
Blogging More Often & About Things I Enjoy
My blogging goal for 2015 is to blog a little more, aiming for a minimum of one post a week (I’m a pretty busy man!). You might have noticed that I’ve changed the blog around a little, this was so that I could focus more on niches that I really enjoy. So you should be seeing a little more street food, craft beer and ales, London, tech and plenty of travel to prove that you can really experience so much whilst working full time too.
So what are you goals for 2015? Let me know in the comments!
